| In their first match the Czechs showed a strong performance in set pieces against South Korea and even took the lead. Their main weapons remain physical strength, crosses to striker Patrik Schick and inclusions in the midfield led by Tomas Soucek. The problem was control in the middle of the field and speed in defensive transitions. South Africa also lost their first match to Mexico and suffered serious problems in defense. Additionally, the team enters the match with personnel problems after two players were suspended. Coach Hugo Broos will probably change the formation once again and will rely on a more stable four in defense. Czechia looks to be the slightly more organized and quality team. South Africa has speed and physicality, but the absences and problems in the squad could put the Europeans in better position for the three points. |
